It keeps coming up with 'unidentified network - local only' i have tried running numerous virus cleans (Combofix, malwrebytes, rkill, goredfix, trend housecall) none have detected any infected objects. It connects to my network but it says "unidentified network with local access only. My first step was to get on the phone with AT &T tech support. With the PC, the network comes up in the list, I click on it and then put in the network password, but even though it says I am connected to the network with an excellent signal I cannot go online. When I put my mouse on the wireless icon it says: Unidentified Network (my network name) Access Local Only.

Jun 18, 2020 · Type View Network Connections and click on the result that appears. Right click on your active network adapter. Click diagnose and wait for the troubleshooter to finish. By default, if your network adapter is set to use a static IP address but it should be using DHCP, this should fix it. However, it’s a good idea to check yourself too.
